I just got my computer yesterday, so it's a bit 'early to say really, but let me say a few things. First, the speakers suck. I use Google and trying to listen to voice messages is very difficult, with the volume turned up. Perhaps other sources will be higher, but what use is quite expected and will be a small problem.

I bought this netbook for biking purposes, so I could accumulate up with email, and cream the web for advice if I was traveling. For instance, purchasing tickets online, or accessing maps, can be calmly and agilely done already you accept a appropriate WiFi connection. Many hotels action the WiFi. I took this netbook to Europe on a two-week vacation, and it served my purposes appealing well. It does NOT do added than a characterless job of hosting video calls in Skype. It just doesn’t accept the computational beef for that. I fabricated video calls, but the video bisected was generally jerky, and sometimes calls were dropped. But for accessing information, it did just fine. And it’s nice and compact, too.

I purchased this netbook a week ago and so far everything works great. I had been looking for a few months when I found this Acer for $ 280. Much better than anything offered at Bestbuy or other suppliers. I upgraded to 2 GB of RAM, but I have noticed a big difference.

ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-VU1X-BK 10.1 "has great size and can be good for web browsing and watching streaming video in restaurants and read e-mail. 10" Netbook, IMO, is better suited for those who typically consume web content, and do not often use the keyboard. I bought me use a rest when I travel, that only a few times a year. I took the Net-book for a year and found it frustrating to get any job with a small keyboard,and poor performance on the trackpad. My Net-book just sitting on my shelf closed, so I sold.
